About Me

Artist Statement

My work is driven by a pursuit of excellence—carefully considered choices, refined technique, and an attention to detail that honours both idea and craft. My projects reflect what I believe in: that thoughtful, well-made work can connect, inspire, and make a difference. Every project is approached with a commitment to quality and care, making sure that every detail works to communicate its message effectively.

My Story

I started creating the moment I could hold a crayon or dip my hands in paint, and I haven’t stopped since. My family moved a lot when I was a kid, which meant I lived in 9 separate houses and attended 10 different schools before graduating from High School. This constant change has instilled in me an ability to be flexible and roll with the punches in both my work and life.

One such punch to my life came in 2020, when I came down with a series of increasingly concerning and painful symptoms out of the blue. It wasn’t until two-and-a-half years later that I was able to walk out of the doctor's office with a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition with no certain cause and no cure. During my journey, I spent a long time focused on getting back to my old, normal, healthy self. However, in receiving my diagnosis, it was confirmed that my life would never return to what I previously called “normal.” Instead, I would have to keep rolling with the punches and see what came next.

Since my diagnosis, I have worked diligently to reintroduce the creative practice into my life in a sustainable, fulfilling way. I still face setbacks on a daily basis, but despite this, I have continued to develop my skills as a creative communicator, thriving on creating things I am passionate about and working on projects that both inspire me and push me to keep improving to the best creative I can be.
